This photographic project is a social documentation of parallel stories: of a worker,
and a forgotten Irish heritage underneath a disguised place. The recordings are
based on everyday worker’s life, who provides ordinary services to the locals in
this unnoticed setting.
In the heart of Limerick City, on the corner of the crossroads there is a local church,
just like any other around the country. On the side of the church’s spiritual grounds,
just where the graveyard area ends and meets the road there is an off license.
Historically this place was known as The Holy Ground, possibly the only pub on
the premises of a church.
